Thank you to our hosts, Inshalla Country Club, to our caterer Castaway's Bar & Grill, and our event sponsors Samuel Pressure Vessel Group, Bethel Excavating, Cerny's Greenhouse, and WJJQ!
Ambassador Award:
Bringing outstanding contributions to our area
Since 2007 this nonprofit has been bringing us free concerts throughout the summers. They bring in great diverse genres from blues to country. The entertainment they bring in brings folks from out of town to enjoy not only the music but our small community. They are helping keep the arts and music scene alive in town.
Congratulations to Tomahawk Music on the River!
Spirit Award:
Brings positive attributes such as dedication & initiative
Since joining the Chamber Board he has stepped up to help with some of the craziest requests from lining fields for our Arts and Crafts Fair, helping with a broken door, to helping keep the conversations and activities alive down at SARA Park for Fall Ride. His time on the Wa Wui Board has been filled with bingo, events, ice maintenance, coaching, and now a rink revitalization that will help not only the student athletes but our town.
Congratulations Chris Bembinster!
2025 Small Business of the Year
New this year, we introduced online the option to nominate and vote for our local businesses. The catch was they couldn’t be self nominated. There was quite the list of requirements, but we know our community is filled with an abundance of outstanding businesses that are committed to our towns’ community and success.
This award was solely public vote based and we couldn’t be more proud of our community for showing for this business like they have been showing up for Tomahawk for the last 40 Years.
Congratulations to our first winner Northwoods 92.5 WJJQ
Lifetime Achievement:
To those that have put in the time and dedication to create a legacy through their own business, dedication to their role, or to the community.
This community would be vastly different if this woman hadn't stepped up to the plate and created the amazing resource and refuge for kids we have today in Kinship.
Her dedication to the mentoring program has been an amazing journey. From helping make that first match, to now buying and renovating the old Bradley Bank. She has truly shown the dedication and care for the community and our families.
Congratulations Patti Hilgendorf!
This award was presented to her by her children along with their spouses and her grandchildren.
Thank You & Stay Tuned
Stay tuned for next year as we will be introducing two more publicly nominated awards!
