All Day or Afternoon Adventure?

Activities for All Seasons

Explore Tomahawk, where outdoor adventure and small-town connection come together. Enjoy scenic trails, lakes, and river recreation by day, then gather with friends over delicious local dining, unique shops, and a welcoming community.

Fishing & Water Adventures
Tomahawk is celebrated as a top fishing destination in northern Wisconsin. With more than 15 lakes and flowages—including Lake Mohawksin, Muskellunge Lake, and the Willow Flowage—anglers can chase trophy-sized musky, walleye, bass, pike, and panfish in open water and on the ice. In winter, ice fishing is a cherished pastime on Lake Alice and Lake Nokomis, drawing anglers to set tip-ups and enjoy the tranquil frozen landscape.

Dining & Local Cuisine
After a day on the water or trails, Tomahawk’s rich local dining scene invites visitors to unwind and taste the Northwoods. From classic supper clubs and grill-style fare to specialty dining and cozy cafés, choices include Pine Tree Supper Club, Dog N Suds, Northwoods Café & Coffeehouse, Sideways Wine & Craft Beer, and Somo Lake Resort—each offering a taste of local hospitality and community flavor. The area’s restaurants and bars often serve as gathering spots for riders and anglers alike.
